Another great game against Alderley Ladies 1’s this afternoon.. Lots learned from yesterday and put into our play today finishing strongly in the last quarter, final score 3-3. Huge thanks to Kelly and Alderley Hockey Club for providing umpires and for their excellent hospitality, very much appreciated.
On Saturday morning Pate asked the 1’s to demonstrate three values throughout the weekend – believe, enjoy and perform. I think it’s fair to say that all sixteen players stepped up and nailed each one of the values on and off the pitch. The challenge is now to live and breathe these values for the rest of the season in order to build on our successes in Cheshire and continue to grow as a team. Exciting season ahead for this young squad ⚪️⚫️
