As you may be aware new Data Protection Legislation (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) came into force on 25th May 2018. To comply with this legislation, we need to make you aware of the data we hold on our system as part of our safeguarding process and make sure you are happy for us to keep using this data. In order to allow us to provide you with any medical treatment if required and keep you updated with Fjordhus Reivers Hockey Club training, tournaments and other events throughout the year we need to retain the following information – name, date of birth, parent/guardian contact name, address, email address, telephone number for emergency contacts and a note of any allergies or medical history. The information is held securely and we will keep a record of your personal details as long as you are playing hockey at Fjordhus Reivers Hockey Club.
Fjordhus Reivers Hockey Club is affiliated to Scottish Hockey and we share your personal information and contact email with them, this is for eligibility for you to play hockey and for insurance purposes. PLEASE NOTE: Every player must have a unique email address in order that we can register you with Scottish Hockey.
